Merry Belated Christmas

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas currently doing nothing, which is nice after the busy weekend. I had a brilliant day with my family and the presents I got were brilliant. My main present was a camera which was a complete surprise, I also got given some DVD’s, perfume and makeup.  I can’t believe Christmas is over now for another year, and that soon we have to take down all the deportations, cards and trees, it’s gone so quick for me and I love Christmas time. Below is a picture of my Christmas tree close up, one of my first pictures using Instagram.

Back in November I had my nails like this for Movemeber, I got the idea off youtube and though I would give it ago. The base colour is OPI’s On Strange Tides, and I used Barry M for the moustaches. I took this picture on my iPhone using Instagram so you can’t really see what colour comes out like, but it is one of my favourite colours and encourage you to look it up.

1. Last night I went to Lakeside in Essex with my lovely mother and spent far too much money, this coat and t-shirt was two of the items I brought. As soon as I saw this coat I knew that I had to have it, I just love the leopard print collar and it’s completely different to what I've had before and with 30% off I didn't need any more convincing. The top was from Topshop the only thing that bothers me about this top is that it’s quite short so I can’t wear it with leggings but other than that it’s perfect.

2. I don’t know if everyone knows but I was shocked by this bit of celebrity news, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on Monday after only 72 days of marriage. I love the Kardashian’s and I was completely shocked, I really thought that they would last, well longer than 72 days, when watching them on Keeping up with the Kardashians. While writing this I have been reading about the two of them more and read that Kim is keeping her engagement ring worth two million pounds, what a cheek!

3.  On a completely different note, the nursery where I work has asked me to start full time on Monday, and I am so happy. At the moment I am meant to be part time but I am doing full time hours and am missing out when it comes to getting paid. Now I will get a steady income every month and will be able to treat myself without worrying.

4. One more thing before I stop jibber jabbering, if I ever reach 40 followers I want to have a giveaway. Not sure what yet, but there will be one

Want Want Want!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I've just been paid and I am already on the internet seeing what I can buy with my money. But I've decided that I'm going to buy less on the internet and just go to the shop instead of waiting for it to be delivered or paying the delivery charges.

1. I first saw these boots on a blog and I have fallen in love with them, I wish I could remember where I first saw them so you could see how good they look on, but unfortunately I can’t. I will be buying these tomorrow from zalando, these boots were £45 and they are now £33 so how could I saw no?

2. I am loving this jumper from Topshop at the moment. I've been wanting a christmas looking jumper for the past couple of weeks, and when I walked into Topshop I saw a girl wearing it and wondered where she brought it and there it was in Topshop. I did want a jumper with reindeer or snowmen on but I will be able this jumper more often, however this jumper is £50 which is a lot more than I was going to spend.

3. These jeans are also from Topshop, these are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. On Saturday I brought the same pair but in dark blue, and now I want them in ever colour, I have already asked my mum to get me a pair for christmas.

4. I have quite an obession when it comes to nail varnish and I have just found this colour from OPI floating around on the internet and I think it's just what I've been looking for.

The Day I Met Taylor Lautner

On the 26th September I was lucky enough to meet Taylor Lautner! I went with my little sister to the Abduction Premiere, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I know it sounds cheesy  but it was so much fun and everyone there had so much energy. Lily Collins was there are, and so was Keith Lemon. I only saw Keith for a little while and was only able to get this picture of him becuase it was raining so much and he was being told to go in by someone.

The pictures are pretty bad quality and that was because of the rain and because it was really dark for six o'clock. But from the picture of Taylor you can see how amazing he looked, I have liked Taylor since he was first in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 but in person he was even better looking. The best looking I have ever seen him.

Pick Up A Penguin

I’ve been wearing this design on my nails for a week now, I’ve seen this design floating around on the internet for a while and didn’t think that I would ever be able to do it without any dotting tools or brushes, but I did using a hair clip. I only tried the design on my left hand because I would never be able to paint it using my left hand, but I think that it came out alright as the people at work could tell it was a penguin, yay!

 

To do this design I used Barry M colours, I do love Barry M but because I have gel nails they take ages to dry. So because of this I always end up smudging them and I hate that you can’t do your nails an hour before bed without waking up with a bumpy pattern on them.

 

I have always loved doing my nails and love to have unique nails but I’m running out of ideas. If anyone has any suggestions on what designs I can do next it would be much appreciated.

Introducing Me

Hi? I’m Deanne, and this is my first blog post. I’m not exactly sure what my blog will be about yet, although it will mention my random thoughts, my buys and what I am up to.

I’m 18, I currently work in a playschool and planning to go to university next year to start my teacher training. Some of my favourite things are nail art, shoes and Johnny Depp, in my mind I am married to Ian Somerhalder, don’t be surprised if he pops up on my blog.
